Integrative omics in cancer
Our lab develops and applies state-of-the-art quantitative mass-spectrometry based (interaction) proteomics and next generation DNA sequencing technology to decipher (epi)genetic regulation of gene expression in (differentiated) stem cells.
Furthermore, we use the same technology to study deregulation of gene expression in cancer. To address our central research questions, we make use of embryonic- and adult stem cell based in vitro cell culture models, including gastruloids and (cancer) organoids, and primary cells.
