Willemijn Tak

Following a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, I completed a postgraduate degree in medicine, during which I conducted a research project focused on tumor immunology.

After working in the clinic for one year, I joined the group of John Haanen as a PhD student in August of 2024. My research focuses on T-cell related therapies, bridging clinical and translational approaches to explore novel strategies for harnessing immune cells against cancer.
