Silvie Janssen

PhD student

In January 2020 I started as a PhD student at the department of Psychosocial research and Epidemiology. My PhD project focuses on survivorship care for adolescent and young adult cancer survivors (diagnosed between 18-39 years).

2011-2014: Obtained my Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University
2014-2016: Obtained my Master’s degree (MSc) in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University
2015-2016: Within my Master’s, I completed my thesis at the Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organization
2016; Within my Master’s, I performed a research internship at the University of Alabama, at Birmingham, United States of America
2018-2019: I worked as a research assistant within several projects at the department of Psychosocial Research and Epidemiology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute
