I joined Sixma group in 2021 as a technician. I work on the polycomb PRC1 complexes which regulate transcriptional repression, defining cell fate and cell type.
Their mis-regulation is implicated in various cancer types. With the help of cryo-EM, biophysical and biochemical methods I’m trying to find targetable selective allosteric site for selective drug discovery.
