End of 2016 I joined William Faller’s group. As a technician I am responsible for our mouse colony regarding several CRC related mouse models. Next to that I create basically from all lines organoid cultures. Isolating conditional media from RSPO and Noggin producing HEK cells as use for organoid cultures. In general keeping track of orders, stocks etc.

Work experience

- Improving the organisation by setting up databases for plasmids, primers, antibodies etc.

- Breeding mouse lines, crossing with other genetically modified mice and subsequent genotyping. Controlling mice and experiments via Promas database.

- Anatomical section on ill mice, removing tumors,SC/ IP injection

- Isolation of keratinocytes and mefs from mice.

- Molecular biology; Northen/Southern blotting, DNA/RNA isolations cloning, RT-PCR, ShRNA screening, competent cells( making of), Isolation of eco/amphotropic virusses, Lenti and Adeno.

- Culturing cells from epithelial, fibroblastic, neuronal and lymphoid origin,

- Isolation of proteins from bacteria (especially big proteins)

- Making antibodies

- Westernblot, IP’s. Mass spec analysis.

- RNA seq/Qpcr
