In July 2022, I joined the groups of Myriam Chalabi and Lodewyk Wessels as a PhD student.
My work is focused on translational analysis of cancer immunotherapy trials, with a focus on the gastro-intestinal tract. This involves bioinformatics analysis of DNAseq, RNAseq and scRNAseq data, using pre- and post-treatment samples.
We aim to understand which factors are associated with treatment response and to dissect the tumor microenvironment changes that occur after immune checkpoint blockade treatment. Our general goal is to improve patient selection using biomarkers and help design novel immunotherapy strategies.
