Lisanne Venix

In 2023, I completed my Master’s degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, with a specialization in imaging and interventions. I performed my graduation project in the NKI at the surgical oncology and radiotherapy department, to assess the feasibility of EM navigation for gynecologic brachytherapy catheter placement.

I started my PhD in the NKI in September 2023. My research will focus on navigation systems for robotic surgery, to investigate the technical challenges that are accompanied. Besides, I am supporting liver surgeons during ORs with our standard clinical care navigation system.
