Klaudia Majszczyk
PhD student
Email Benjamin RowlandWhile pursuing a Biomedical Sciences Master’s degree at University of Amsterdam I had an opportunity to attend a lecture given by Benjamin Rowland, after which I developed a strong interest in chromosome biology and the molecular mechanisms involved in shaping the genome. Inspired by the research conducted in the Rowland lab I decided to join the group as a PhD student to learn more about the complexity of 3D genome organization.
I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanisms of cohesin and condensin-mediated loop extrusion.
