Hester Haak

I obtained my medical degree at University of Amsterdam in 2016. Subsequently I worked as a resident at the surgery department at Flevoziekenhuis in Almere. In March 2018, I started my PhD at the surgical department in the AVL under supervision of Dr. M. Maas, Prof. R. Beets-Tan and Prof. Beets. My thesis focuses on the Watch-and-Wait approach in rectal cancer patients with a complete response after chemoradiation.
