Eva Boomstra

I work at the Van de Poll-group since October 2021, in the project ‘PROMS in spreekkamer’. My research is focussed on the implementation of PROMs in the daily clinical hospital practice, for instance by studying ways to provide feedback of PROMs to patients and healthcare providers. I will also start up an evaluation study to evaluate the actual implementation of PROMs in our institute. Furthemore, I will look at the aggregated results of PROMs: how is the health-related quality of life and functioning in patients who are or have been treated for cancer, which problems do they encounter, and what needs may they have? This will be the input for the improvement of referral to supportive care.

Besides my position as a PhD, I work one day a week as a physical therapist.
