I joined the Akkari lab for my second internship of my Master’s degree in 2022 and continued as a research technician, Investigating macrophages and lipid targeting strategies in Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

I started my PhD as of November 2024, investigating the role of the tumor microenvironment in Hepatocellular Carcinoma, with a focus on lipid associated macrophages.
