Since April 2024 I have the opportunity to work as an external PhD-student at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in both the research group of Olga Husson –  Personalized oncology in adolescents and young adult patients (AYA) and the research group of Martijn Stuiver – Functional recovery from cancer. In this research project, in collaboration with AmsterdamUMC, we aim to develop and test an educational and career support program in healthcare and/or education that contributes to participation in education and transition to work of AYAs who are diagnosed during their study.
