Email Jacqueline JacobsMy research journey started at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where I obtained a B.Sc. in Genetics. Further, I have continued my graduate studies at the International Masters in Innovative Medicine program (Uppsala and Groningen Universities, specialization in oncology). During these studies, I have been participating in multiple internships abroad (UBC, CA; Vienna BioCenter Summer School, AU; SciLifeLab, SE; Rudbeck labs, SE; UMCG, NL), focusing primarily on genetic drivers of cancer development and their potential application in precision medicine.
In September 2024, I joined the Jacqueline Jacobs group to study the Alternative Telomere Lengthening pathway in pediatric cancers.
