In April 2019, I started a PhD in Computational Biology at the groups of Michiel van der Heijden and Lodewyk Wessels.

In the project, I will use bioinformatics approaches to better understand the effect and treatment response of chemo and immunotherapies in bladder cancer. The ultimate goal is to translate the gained knowledge into novel therapeutic strategies to treat bladder cancer patients.

2019-2020: After graduating from my MSc degree, I joined The Hyve (IT consultancy) as a Bioinformatician, in which I worked with an open-source community based on healthcare data focused towards clinical applications.

2017-2018: Research internships at the NKI lab from Marjanka Schmidt, and at a Data Science startup (EdgeLeap). Meanwhile I also worked as teacher assistant of Bioinformatics, programming and Machine Learning (VU)

2016-2018: MSc Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the VU University and the University from Amsterdam (UvA)

2011-2016: BSc Physics and BSc Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Spain
