This platform consists of a CO-RE 96 channel pipetting head used for microtiter plate transfers, and eight independent pipetting channels used for cherry picking, and reformatting and accessing non-conventional labware. The R&D platform is fully integrated with a 42 plate tissue culture incubator, robotic arm, heaters, coolers, shakers and a barcode scanner. This system allows maximum flexibility to develop and perform complex assays.
Our Hamilton Replicator platform consists of a CO-RE 384 channel pipetting head, four independent spanning pipetting channels and an iSwap gripping tool. This system is coupled to two Agilent BenchCel stackers that rapidly feed the liquid handler with mother and daughter plates for high throughput liquid handling. This system is used mainly for cell based screening of large collections of compounds.
A standalone platform with 8-individual channels and a multitude of deck accessories. This instrument is used to automate laborious and complex manual liquid handling such as reagent addition to multiwall plates, cherrypicking and normailisation.
For small volume pipetting (pL-nL range) we utilize the HP D300 digital dispenser which rapidly prints any dose of compound directly to assay plates, e.g. for determination of IC50's or drug to drug synergy assays.
The Thermo Wellmate is used to rapidly and automatically dispense a wide range of volumes to multiple diverse micro titer plates. Commonly used for seeding cells and adding assay reagents to screening plates.
The Envision Multilabel Reader is a state-of the art dual-detector module and is one of the fastest HTS readers available. The instrument features two detectors enabling simultaneous dual wavelength reading, below emission reading, a high speed light source and adjustment of measurement height function. The Envision reads all non-isotopic detection technologies, including fluorescence, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance, in all major applications. The reader accepts both 96 and 384 well plates.
The Incucyte allows a more efficient and thorough set of solutions for long-term, live-cell imaging. This imaging method, termed 'Live Content Imaging' allows one to expand the ways of documenting and understanding cellular growth, behavior, and morphology. In addition, by design, it provides an effective kinetic read-out solution for the next generation of in vitro biological assays. The microscope is located inside an incubator, but control of the system and access to the images and data are enabled from a computer in the lab. The facility has a second generation Incucyte that has phase , green and red imaging modes, user changeable objectives and a quicker run time.
The BD Pathway™ high-content cell analyzer combines superior image quality, flexible image capture, and live-cell analysis to address a wide range of applications. The BD Pathway 855 system provides fluorescence intensity measurements, kinetic imaging, and morphological analysis, including sub-cellular imaging. The BD Pathway 855 provides high performance and ease of use to improve workflow and productivity. Cellular images can be captured in either confocal or widefield mode to deliver high-resolution images for subsequent analysis. A unique optical spinning disk allows researchers to switch between confocal or widefield modes, minimizing background fluorescence and maximizing image quality. An innovative motionless stage with movable optics enhances image stability for loosely adherent and live cells. Powerful acquisition software allows administrators to easily develop templates for predefined routine or specialized applications. Researchers can visualize both endpoint and kinetic image data in a wide range of formats. The BD Pathway 855 is equipped with environmental control and liquid handling. The BD Pathway 855 is linked to a TwisterII which facilitates and loading and unloading of multiple microtitre plates in to the enviroment chamber.
The FLEXMAP 3D uses XMAP technology of differently dyed fluorescent microsphere sets, with an innovative instrument design to allow multiplexing of up to 500 unique assays within a single sample, both rapidly and precisely. The XMAP Technology combines advanced fluidics, optics, and digital signal processing with proprietary microsphere technology to deliver multiplexed assay capabilities.
Gelcount TM is an integrated, dedicated colony counter for processing tumor colony forming assays in 3-dimensional semi-solid matrices, and is conceived to rapidly and accurately count al well as characterize mammalian cell colonies. Colonies are imaged, images transferred, processed and characterized and the data collated/exported from within a single, integrated hardware/software platform. GelcountTM is compatible with multi-well pates (6-, 12-, 24-, 48- and 96-well), with Petri dishes (35 mm, 50 mm and 100 mm) and with T25 flasks.
Essential for the annotation and sealing of library and assay plates in high throughput screens.
Highly efficient transfection (nucleofection) of DNA, RNA and protein in medium to high throughput in a multitude of cell types.
