The portal has been developed at Karolinska Institutet and SciLifeLab together with clinical researchers from seven European comprehensive cancer centres who are part of the Cancer Core Europe Consortium, and has currently analysed more than 500 patients' samples.

NKI internist-clinical pharmacologist Frans Opdam relates how those CCE clinicians working together in the tumour-agnostic Basket of Baskets trial use this new genomics-based decision aid tool in their weekly multidisciplinary meetings. 'Each Wednesday, we discuss the clinical relevance of the outcomes of our patients' tumor genetic analyses to decide which patients are electable for this trial.'
