The Labs for Life team is raising funds for their cancer research at NKI

Christel Ramirez, Martina Färber, Efi Tsouri, Nicolas Camviel, Margherita Rossi and Sanne van der Heijden work together every day at the NKI as colleagues in the research groups of John Haanen and Leila Akkari.

What started as occasionally exercising together with some friends and partners turned into finding a shared passion; running. Because cancer also affects the researchers in their personal life outside the workplace, they wanted to do something to contribute to a solution. They supported the Young AVL team during the LoveLife Run and raised a very nice amount for cancer research. And that led them to wanting to do even more.

Their latest mission is to participate as a team in the Damloop by Night on Saturday, September 21, to raise even more funds for cancer research at the NKI.
